About Trb.

I built this from the floor. Literally.

There was a season where I was on my face on the floor, crying out to God. Not a graceful, put-together prayer. The messy kind. The kind where you don’t have words anymore, so you just weep and hope He understands what you can’t say.

I was a new wife and mother, and I was empty. I remember waking up one morning, drained down to nothing, looking in the mirror at what felt like a shell of myself. I was struggling; physically, mentally, all of it, and I was so good at making it look fine that no one ever thought to ask if I actually was.

I wasn’t.

So I started healing. Not overnight. Not perfectly. Slow, quiet, unglamorous healing; the kind fueled by faith and a stubborn refusal to keep living on empty and calling it love.

And somewhere in that, the loneliness got loud too. I longed for women who just got it. Who understood the exhaustion and the guilt and the resentment nobody says out loud. I didn’t have that. So part of why I do this now is so you don’t have to feel as alone as I did.

I have two children now. And they are watching me, this changes everything.

They’re looking to me for their guidance. Their sense of who they are. Their idea of what strength looks like and what it means to be a whole, healed, healthy woman. That’s a weight I feel every single day. Because I can’t hand them something I don’t have. I can’t teach peace if I haven’t practiced. I can’t give them a steady home if I’m still coming apart inside.

That’s when it hit me:

We are raising our children from places we were never healed from. Places of fear and lack.

We pass down more than our looks. We pass down our reactions. Our tension. The way we handle, or don’t handle, our emotions. And the cycle doesn’t break by trying harder or pretending we’re fine. It breaks by healing first.

That’s what The Quiet Work is.

It’s the unseen stuff. Pausing before you snap. Repairing after you do. Forgiving the woman you used to be. Choosing to heal so your kids inherit your peace instead of your patterns.

Nobody claps for this work. Nobody even sees it. But your children feel it. Every day.

I’m still in it, right there with you. Still learning. Still some days on the floor. I don’t have it all figured out, I just decided to stop surviving and actually start healing, out loud, on purpose.

So if you’re carrying quiet resentment, or healing from your own past, or just longing for women who get it you’re welcome here.

You’re not behind. You’re becoming.

And we rise together.

Heal the mother. Change the line.

This is the quiet work. xo, Brandi
